flexing your abundance muscle

October 20th, 2008 by Julie-Anne

There is much that I want to see, do and achieve in this world.  And there is much that I have seen, done and already achieved in this world.  My challenge is to not get stuck in the vortex of perpetual wanting as it is can be another creative way that I get to stay out of the present.

Wanting is a great thing as it shows me a direction to head and a path to take action towards.  However what I am discovering is if I am constantly in the wanting and not in the gratitude of what I already have.  Then the energy that I am putting out into the world is in direct conflict with what I would like to achieve.

Wanting energy has a negative vibe to it.  We all know what that feels like.  Have you ever been in a social situation and felt uneasy and a negative vibe around someone as you feel like they want something from you or just from life in general?  In contrast when you are around someone who is content and in gratitude a positive energy is what you feel.  And these people actually draw you and the world in more.

In essence what I am saying is if you really really want something in your life.  Find and connect with the feeling of abundance you have in your life right now.  As it is that feeling of abundance that is going to draw it to you much more quickly than the negative energy of wanting that actually could be pushing it away from you.

What are you grateful for today?  How are you needs totally met today?  How have things always worked out some way for you?  How has your life previously magically unfolded?  What dreams and desires of yours have been fulfilled?

Connect with what you already have today and you will not only feel a great peace of mind and joy but the irony is it will bring even more abundance to you.

For myself I also like to add in when working with the law of attraction the caveat, if only in the best interest for all those who are involved.

Easier said that done I know.  But that’s why we get so many opportunities to practice :)

Enjoy
